LOS ANGELES, CA — (April 8, 2016) — engage:BDR, a leading cross-device advertising solution company, is in the first-ever round of organizations to achieve certification to the Trustworthy Accountability Group’s (TAG) new IQG (Inventory Quality Guidelines) compliance program. In addition, engage:BDR has captured third-party independent validation, providing more trust and transparency to the digital advertising supply chain.

“I applaud engage:BDR for taking a leadership position on this important initiative. engage:BDR’s participation in TAG’s Inventory Quality program demonstrates their continued commitment to quality and improving the ecosystem. engage:BDR has a long history of third party certification, which includes IAB’s Impression Measurement, Viewable Impressions and Quality Assurance Guidelines and now TAG’s Inventory Quality Guidelines,” stated Richard Murphy, Senior Vice President, iCompli at BPA Worldwide.

TAG’s IQG compliance program was recently formed in order to provide certification for digital advertising sellers to ensure framework for brand safety and transparency for buyers. Their mission is to reduce friction and foster an environment of trust in the marketplace by providing clear, common language that describes characteristics of advertising inventory and transactions across the advertising value chain.

The goals of the program are to: support the information needs of advertising buyers, define a common framework of disclosures that sellers can use across the industry, offer clear language that enables buyers to make informed decisions, and review compliance and facilitate the resolution of disputes and complaints.

“engage:BDR is dedicated to continually heightening levels of inventory quality and furthering industry standards of this nature because it is core to our vision and mission of providing brands with the highest quality and most effective cross-channel advertising solutions. TAG is a strong, vastly important organization and its benefit to the ecosystem will be felt widely,” stated Ted Dhanik, CEO of engage:BDR.
